[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ sent Abu Bakr on the Hajj pilgrimage and he did not approach the Kaaba, but rather he went to Dhu al-Majaz and informed the people about their rituals and relayed to them the message of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until they arrived at Arafat before Dhu al-Majaz. This was because they did not perform the Umrah before the Hajj.  

الطبراني:١٢١٨٠حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي كُرَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «بَعَثَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ عَلَى الْحَجِّ وَلَمْ يَقْرَبِ الْكَعْبَةَ وَلَكِنَّهُ شَمَّرَ إِلَى ذِي الْمَجَازِ يُخْبِرُ النَّاسَ بِمَناسِكِهِمْ ويُبْلِغُهُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أَتَوْا عَرَفَةَ قَبْلَ ذِي الْمَجَازِ وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَكُونُوا اسْتَمْتِعُوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ»
