tabarani:11251cYaḥyá b. ʿUthmān b. Ṣāliḥ from my father > Ibn Lahīʿah > ʿAṭāʾ b. Abū Rabāḥ And Ibn Abū Mulaykah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered a garden belonging to some of the Ansar and started eating dates as he walked. I was with him when he turned to me and said, "O Ibn Abbas, do not eat with two fingers, for indeed that is the way of the devil. Eat with three fingers."  

الطبراني:١١٢٥١cحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ وَابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَائِطًا لِبَعْضِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَجَعَلَ يَتَنَاوَلُ مِنَ الرُّطَبِ فَيَأْكُلُ وَهُوَ يَمْشِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ «يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ لَا تَأْكُلْ بإِصبعينِ فَإِنَّهَا أَكْلَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَكُلْ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَصَابِعَ»
