[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only threw pebbles at the Jamrat (pillars) and between Safa and Marwa, because the polytheists saw it as a difficult task and he (the Prophet) wanted to deter them."  

الطبراني:١٠٩٥٨حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«إِنَّمَا رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِأَنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ رَأَوْا بِهِ جَهْدًا وَبِأَصْحَابِهِ فَرَمَلَ»
