The Prophet ﷺ was giving them allegiance and saying, "I give you my allegiance that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal, you will not commit adultery, you will not kill your children, you will not bring false accusations that you fabricate with your hands and feet, and you will not disobey me in matters of goodness." They replied, "We will try our best." So, I would say what they said, and my mother would say, "Say 'yes.'" So, I would say "yes."

[Machine] "I saw a passenger riding on a camel similar to that of Abu Qubays, and he shouted, 'O family of betrayal and family of debauchery, disperse into three groups!' And he took a rock from Abu Qubays and threw it at Al-Mirkan, causing the rock to split apart. So, there was not a single house of the Quraysh that did not have a piece from it, except for the house of Banu Zuhrah. Al-Abbas said, 'This is a vision, keep it to yourself and do not mention it.' So Al-Abbas went and met Al-Walid ibn Utbah ibn Rabi'ah and mentioned it to him, and Al-Walid mentioned it to his father. The story spread. Al-Abbas said, 'The next day, I went around the Kaaba, and Abu Jahl was in a group of the Quraysh discussing the vision of Atikah. When Abu Jahl saw me, he said, 'O Abu Al-Fadl, when you finish your Tawaf, come to us.' When I finished, I approached them and sat down with them. Abu Jahl said, 'O sons of Abdul-Muttalib, are you not pleased that your men should be able to tell the future, even before your women can tell it? Atikah claimed in her vision that he said, 'Disperse into three groups,' so we will wait for these three groups. If what you say is true, then it will happen. But if the three groups do not appear, and nothing happens, then we will write a document stating that you are the biggest liars among the Arabs.' Al-Abbas said, 'By Allah, I did not say anything to him except that I denied it and refused that she saw anything.' Al-Abbas said, 'When evening came, a woman from the daughters of Abdul-Muttalib came to me and said, 'Are you pleased with this sinful man who meddles with your men and then with your women, and you hear about it and do nothing?' I did not have any objections, and I swear by Allah that if it were not for Hamzah, I would not have said what I said. I told her, 'By Allah, he did it, and I did not deny it. But I will mock him, and if he repeats it, I will handle it on your behalf.' Al-Abbas said, 'The next day, on the third day of Atikah's vision, I was angry that I missed the opportunity to learn more about it. I started walking towards him. He was a man with a sharp face, a sharp tongue, and sharp eyes. He was heading towards the gate of the mosque. I said to myself, 'Why not confront him? May Allah curse him!' Just as I thought that, he heard something that I did not hear. He heard the voice of Damdam ibn Zur'ah ibn 'Amr Al-Ghifari screaming from the belly of the valley, saying, 'His camel has stumbled, he has turned his mount, ripped his shirt, and he said, 'O people of Quraysh, Muhammad has come out with his companions! What is preventing you from catching up with them? Ghawth! Ghawth!' Al-Abbas said, 'He distracted me from that moment, and he was distracted from me by what happened.'

[Machine] Atika, the daughter of Abdul-Muttalib and the aunt of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , lived with her brother Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib. She had a dream before the Battle of Badr which frightened her, so she sent a message to her brother Abbas during the night when she was scared and woke up from her sleep. She said, "I had a dream and I feared for your people's destruction because of it." He asked, "What did you see?" She said, "I will not tell you until you promise not to mention it, for if they hear it, they will harm us by making us do what we do not like." So Abbas made the promise and she said, "I saw a rider coming on his camel from the top of Mecca, shouting at the top of his voice, 'O evil clan and O Fajr clan, come out in two or three nights!' Then he entered the mosque on his camel and shouted three times, causing the men, women, and children to be startled. The people were terrified, and then I saw him on the back of the Kaaba, shouting three times, 'O evil clan and O Fajr clan, come out in two or three nights!' Then he went towards a great rock, pulled it out of its place, and sent it towards the people of Mecca. The rock made a noise until it reached the foot of the mountain, but then it refused to go any further. I do not know of a house or a settlement in Mecca that has not been entered by a piece of that rock. I feared that your people would suffer harm. Abbas was scared by this and left her. Later that night, he met Al-Walid bin 'Utba bin Rabiah, who was a close friend of Abbas. Abbas told him Atika's dream and ordered him not to mention it to anyone. However, Al-Walid told his father and Utba told his brother Shaybah, and the words spread until Abu Jahl bin Hisham also heard the dream. The next morning, Abbas was performing Tawaf around the Kaaba when he saw Abu Jahl, Utba bin Rabiah, Shaybah bin Rabiah, Umayyah bin Khalaf, and Zam'a bin Al-Aswad speaking among themselves. When they saw Abbas, Abu Jahl called him and said, "O Abbas, when you have finished your Tawaf, come to us." After completing his Tawaf, Abbas went to them and sat down. Abu Jahl asked him, "O Abbas, what did Atika see in her dream?" Abbas replied, "She did not see anything." Abu Jahl said, "Yes, she claimed that the rider said, 'Come out in two or three nights.'" If this has happened
