١٩۔٣ بَابُ مَنْ رَوَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ
أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ
[Machine] "That the three were being combined into one during the era of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
«أَنَّ الثَّلَاثَ كَانَتْ تُجْعَلُ وَاحِدَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever is killed in the blind or by something thrown, while between them is a rock, a wipe, or a stick, then the blood money of be paid for him is the blood money for accidental killing. Whoever kills deliberately, then retaliation is upon him, and whoever tries to prevent that, upon him is the curse of Allah, the Angels, and all the people, and neither Sarf nor Adl will be accepted from him." أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي عِمِّيَّا أَوْ رِمِّيَّا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُمْ بِحَجَرٍ أَوْ سَوْطٍ أَوْ بِعَصا فَعَقْلُهُ عَقْلُ خَطَأٍ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ عَمْدًا فَقَوَدُ يَدِهِ فَمَنْ حَالَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُمْ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "We, the community of prophets, have been commanded to hasten the breaking of the fast, delay the pre-dawn meal, and bind oaths with our characteristics."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّا مَعَاشِرَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نُعَجِّلَ الْإِفْطَارَ وَأَنْ نُؤَخِّرَ السَّحُورَ وَأَنْ نَضْرِبَ بِأَيْمَانِنَا عَلَى شمائِلِنا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the best of people in recitation is the one who recites with sadness."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ قِرَاءَةً مَنْ إِذَا قَرَأَ يَتَحَزَّنُ»
[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the act of hijama while he was in a state of ihram."
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ «احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ»
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had cupping done when he was fasting and in Ihram.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1682)
«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ»
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ ordered us to prostrate on seven parts and not to touch any hair or clothing."
«أُمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَلَا نَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to prostrate on his seven body parts: his face, hands, knees, and feet. He was forbidden from wiping over hair or clothing.
أُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَجْهِهِ وَكَفَّيْهِ وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ وَقَدَمَيْهِ وَنُهِي أَنْ نكُفَّ شَعْرًا أَوْ ثَوْبًا
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ had been commanded that he should prostrate on the seven (bones) and he was forbidden to fold back the hair and clothing. And in the narration transmitted by Abu Rabi' (the words are):" on the seven bones and I was forbidden to fold back the hair and clothing". According to Abu'l-Rabi' (the seven bones are): The hands, the knees, and the (extremities) of the feet and the forehead. (Using translation from Muslim 490a)
«أُمِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَنُهِي أَنْ يَكُفَّ شَعْرَهُ وَثِيَابَهُ»
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to prostrate on seven body parts, and forbid us from covering our hair or clothing."
«أُمِرَ رسول الله ﷺ أَنْ نسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَنُهِي أَنْ نكُفَّ شَعْرًا أَوْ ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to prostrate on seven (limbs) and to cover his hair or garment."
«أُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ وَأَنْ يَكُفَّ شَعْرَهُ أَوْ ثِيَابَهُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been ordered to prostrate on seven parts: the nose, the forehead, the palms, the knees, and the tips of the toes, and not to gather any hair or clothing."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْضَاءٍ الْأَنْفِ وَالْجَبْهَةِ وَالراحَتَيْنِ وَأَطْرَافِ الْأَصَابِعِ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven body parts and not touch hair or clothing."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to fold a hair or a garment."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven body parts and prohibited from plucking hair or tearing clothing."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَنُهِيتُ أَنْ أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا أَوْ ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones and prohibited from wiping hair or garment."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَنُهِيتُ أَنْ أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا أَوْ ثَوْبًا»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been ordered to prostrate on seven (bones) and not to tuck up the hair or garment." (Using translation from Bukhārī 816)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones and not to fold a hair or a garment."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to touch my hair or clothes."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every condition that is not mentioned in the Book of Allah is invalid, even if it is a hundred conditions."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ شَرْطٍ لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ فَهُوَ بَاطِلٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِائَةَ شَرْطٍ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling fruits until they are ripe.
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who buys foodstuff should not sell it till he has received it." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2133)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you purchase food, do not sell it until you take possession of it." Ibn Abbas said, "And I think the same applies to other types of transactions, like food."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا ابْتَعْتَ طَعَامًا فَلَا تَبِعْهُ حَتَّى تَقْبِضَهُ» قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَرَى مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْبَيْعِ مِثْلَ الطَّعَامِ
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad, may ﷺ , said, "Whoever buys food should not sell it until they have received it in full. And I think that everything is the same."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبْتَعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ» وَأَحْسِبُ أَنَّ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلُهُ
[Machine] "The food that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited from being sold until it is collected."
«الطَّعَامُ الَّذِي نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُبَاعَ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ»
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited selling food before it is acquired.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you buys food, do not sell it until you receive it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ»
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who buys foodstuff should not sell it till he is satisfied with the measure with which he has bought it. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2126)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ»
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling food until it is fully measured."
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يُسْتَوْفَى»
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not prohibit share-cropping. But he ordered that they be helpful with each other." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1385)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يُحَرِّمِ الْمُزَارَعَةَ وَلَكِنْ أَمَرَ أَنْ يَرْفُقَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For one of you to give his brother his land as a gift is better for him than taking a specified reward."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَجْرًا مَعْلُومًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not prohibit renting land, but he said, "It is better for one of you to give his brother a gift than to charge him rent for it."
لَمْ يَنْهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا أَجْرًا»
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, "It is better for a person to give his brother his land as a gift than to charge him a known rental fee for it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرْجًا مَعْلُومًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ once said on earth, "Giving it as a gift to your brother is better than collecting rent for it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ «تَمْنَحُها أَخَاكَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرَاجًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to give his brother a gift, and there is no prohibition on disliking it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَهَا أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ» وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْ كِراها
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for a man to cultivate a relationship with his brother than to take a tax from him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِأَنْ يُزْرِعَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرَاجًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Medina will migrate from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhefah, the people of Yemen from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd from Qarn."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ»
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I became intimate with my wife before performing ghusl, and I was attracted to her anklet that she wore yesterday." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Did Allah not say, '{Before they touch one another}?' Hold back until you perform ghusl."
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي ظَاهَرْتُ مِنَ امْرَأَتِي وَإِنَّهَا أَعْجَبَنِي خَلْخَالُهَا الْبَارِحَةَ فَوَقَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ أُكَفِّرَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوَلَمْ يَقُلِ اللهُ ﷻ {مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا} أَمْسِكْ حَتَّى تُكَفِّرَ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited wearing silk, but there is no harm in wearing cotton or linen fabric.
«إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ مُصْمَتِ الْحَرِيرِ وَأَمَّا مَا كَانَ سَدَاةَ قُطْنٍ أَوْ كَتَّانٍ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ took in his hand a piece of gold and a piece of silk and said, "Verily, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah and permissible for their females."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخْرَجَ فِي يَدِهِ قِطْعَةً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقِطْعَةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حُرِّمَا عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي وَحَلَّا لِإِنَاثِهِمْ»
[Machine] The first person to openly declare Islam was Umar ibn Al-Khattab.
«أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَهَرَ بِالْإِسْلَامِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ »
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'If I am alive until the next year, I will definitely fast on the ninth day.'"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَئِنْ بَقِيَتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لَأَصُومَنَّ التَّاسِعَ»
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "It is not permissible for a believing Muslim who believes in Allah and the Last Day to continue with his abandonment of his parents."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وقَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ يَرْجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ إِلَّا الْوَالِدَ»
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I said: A group of Muslims attacked a tribe of polytheists, so they fought them and killed their sons. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "They are with their fathers."
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ خَيْلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَقَعَتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَاتَلُوهُمْ وَقَتَلُوا أَبْنَاءَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هُمْ مَعَ آبَائِهِمْ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No expenditure is dearer to Allah than the one on the day of Eid when the sacrificial animal is slaughtered."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أُنْفِقَتُ الْوَرِقُ فِي شَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنْ نَحيرٍ يُنْحَرُ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ»
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1847)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يُرَ لِلْمُتَحَابَّيْنِ مِثْلُ النِّكَاحِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in his sermon, "Verily, he guides to the best of manners, and indeed, he repels their evil."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ «إِنَّمَا يَهْدِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَإِنَّمَا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا هُوَ»
[Machine] A man gifted a camel to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he rewarded him for it. He asked, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "No," so he increased in reward and asked again, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "No," so he increased again and asked, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, I have always intended not to take a gift except from my Ansar, Quraysh, or Thaqafi supporters."
وَهْبَ رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَاقَةً فَأَثَابَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ لَا فَزَادَهُ فَقَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ لَا فَزَادَهُ قَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ لَا أَتَّهِبَ هِبَةً إِلَّا مِنْ أَنْصَارِيٍّ أَوْ قُرَشِيٍّ أَوْ ثَقَفِيٍّ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Adhere to your calmness, for emigration has ceased, but there is still Jihad and intention. And when you are summoned, then go forth."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَقِرُّوا عَلَى سكينتِكُمْ فَقَدِ انْقَطَعَتِ الْهِجْرَةُ وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا»
[Machine] A man said to the Messenger of Allah, "Shall we act according to what has been decreed and rely on it, or should we depend on something we strive for?" He said, "No, rather act according to what has been decreed, for the pens have dried." He said, "Then what is the point of striving?" He said, "Act, for everyone will be facilitated (in their actions)."
رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَعْمَلُ فِيمَا جَرَتْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيرُ وَجَفَّ بِهِ الْقَلَمُ أَوْ شَيْءٌ نَأْتَنِفُهُ؟ قَالَ «بَلْ لِمَا جَرَتْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيرُ وَجَفَّ بِهِ الْقَلَمُ» قَالَ فَفِيمَ الْعَمَلُ؟ قَالَ «اعْمَلْ فَكُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ»
