"إِنَّ أَشَدَّ ما أَتخَوَّفُ علَيْكُمْ خصْلَتَانِ: اتباعُ الْهَوَى، وطُولُ الأمَلِ، فَأمَّا اتَّبَاعُ الْهَوَى؛ فَإِنَّهُ يَعدِلُ عنِ الْحقِّ، وأَمَّا طُولُ الأَملِ؛ فَالْحُبُ للدُّنْيَا".
