"عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِىَّ قَالَ: لَئِنْ يَمْتَلِىُ عَانَتِى إِلَى رَهَابَتِى قَيْحًا يَتَخَضْخَضُ وَدَمًا أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مَنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا".
