السيوطي:٤٨٣٣a –

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى خَلَقَ أَلْفَ أُمَّة ستمائَة مِنْها فِي البَحْرِ، وأُربَعمائَة فِي البَرِّ، فأَوَّلُ هَذِه الأمَم هَلَاكًا الجَرَادُ، فَإِذا هَلَكَ الْجَرَادُ تَتَابَعَت الأُمَمُ مِثْلَ نِظَامِ السِّلك إِذا انْقَطَعَ".  

الحكيم، [ع] أبو يعلى وأبو الشيخ فِي العظمة، [هب] البيهقى في شعب الإيمان وضَعَّفه عن عمر
