"عَنْ أَبِى وَائلٍ عَن ابْن مَسْعُودٍ أَوْ غيره مِنْ أَصْحاب النَّبِىِّ ﷺ شَكَّ هِشَام الدسْتَوائِى، قَالَ: إِذَا أَحَبَّ الله عَبْدًا ابْتَلَاهُ، فَمِنْ حُبِّه إِيَّاهُ يَمَسُّهُ الْبَلَاءُ حَتَّى يَدْعُوَهُ فَيَسْمَعَ دُعَاءَهُ".
