"عَنْ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: أَوَّلُ الْعَرَبِ هَلَاكًا قُرَيْشٌ وَربيعَةُ، قَالُوا: وَكَيْفَ؟ قَالَ: أَمَّا قُرَيْشٌ فَيُهْلِكُهَا الله، وَأَمَّا رَبِيعَةُ فَتُهْلِكُهَا الْحَمِيَّةُ".
