البانياسى في جزئه، وأبو سعيد النقاش في كتاب القضاة خَط، والديلمى، وابن النجار عن إبراهيم بن عبد الصمد الهاشمى عن أبيه عن عمه إبراهيم بن محمد بن عبد الصمد بن علي بن عبد الله بن عباس عن أبيه عن جده قال: [عق] العقيلى في الضعفاء لا يعرف إلا بعبد الصمد بن علي وهو غير محفوظ.
