The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has forbidden us to face the two qiblahs at the time of urination or excretion.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ

"The Messenger of Allah forbade us from facing either of the two Qiblah when defecating or urinating."

عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْقِلٍ الأَسَدِيِّ وَقَدْ صَحِبَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بِبَوْلٍ

"Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated to me, that he bears witness that the Messenger of Allah forbade facing the Qiblah when defecating or urinating.'"

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بِبَوْلٍ

"The Messenger of Allah forbade facing the Qiblah when urinating. But I saw him, one year before he died, facing the Qiblah (while urinating)."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought rain by facing the qibla (the direction of prayer) and turning his garment around.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَسْقَى فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ urinating facing the Qibla, and I am the first one to inform the people of that.

رَأَيْتُرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبُولُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ حَدَّثَ النَّاسَ بِذَلِكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from facing both Qiblas while urinating or defecating.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade facing both Qiblas (Kaaba in Mecca and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem) while defecating or urinating.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ تُسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَتَانِ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from facing both Qiblas (Kaaba in Mecca and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem) while urinating or defecating.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade building or plastering over the grave.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُبْنَى عَلَى الْقَبْرِ أَوْ يُجَصَّصَ

[AI] He informed him about Maqil ibn Abi Maqil al-Ansari, one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. He narrated to him that the Prophet ﷺ forbade facing the Qibla (direction of prayer) when defecating or urinating.

أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْقِلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ تُسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَتَانِ لِلْغَائِطِ وَالْبَوْلِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from one of the Ansar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade defecating or urinating while facing the qibla.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ تُسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةُ لِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade writing anything on graves.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1563)

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُبْنَى عَلَى الْقَبْرِ»

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ urinating facing the qibla.

أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَبُولُ مُسْتَقْبِلًا الْقِبْلَةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not face the Qibla (direction of prayer) while you are defecating or urinating, but face the east or the west."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ وَلَا بَوْلٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا وَغَرِّبُوا»

"The Messenger of Allah forbade the person who went to the Gha'it to face the Qiblah. He said: 'face towards the east or the west.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 318)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ الَّذِي يَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْغَائِطِ وَقَالَ «شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا»

"The Messenger of Allah forbade the person who went to the Gha'it to face the Qiblah. He said: 'face towards the east or the west.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 318)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الْغَائِطَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَقَالَ «شَرِّقُوا وَغَرِّبُوا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not face the Qibla (direction of prayer) while urinating or defecating, rather face the east or the west."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ وَلَا غَائِطٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا»

"The Messenger of Allah forbade the person who went to the Gha'it to face the Qiblah. He said: 'face towards the east or the west.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 318)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الَّذِي يَذْهَبُ الْغَائِطَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَقَالَ «شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade facing the Qiblah (direction of prayer) during defecation and urination."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى أَنْ يُسْتَقْبَلَ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ فِي الْغَائِطِ وَالْبَوْلِ»

[AI] "He told him, 'The Prophet ﷺ forbade facing the Qibla with excrement or urine.'"

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ» نَهَى أَنْ تُسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَتَانِ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ

"لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ".

"لا يَبُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَة".

"عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ أَبِى الْهَيْثَمِ وَقَدْ صَحِبَ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ أن النَّبِىَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنَّ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ".

"عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عن أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ".
