" عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ النَّاسَ مُتَوَافِرِينَ حِينَ حَرَّقَ عُثْمَانُ الْمَصَاحِفَ فَأعْجَبَهُمْ ذَلِكَ، وَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ".
