Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَىَّ عَبْدِي بِشَىْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَىَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطُشُ بِهَا وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا وَإِنْ سَأَلَنِي لأُعْطِيَنَّهُ وَلَئِنِ اسْتَعَاذَنِي لأُعِيذَنَّهُ وَمَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَىْءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ نَفْسِ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah ﷻ said, 'Whoever humbles himself to show loyalty to a close friend of Mine, I consider him as being ready to fight for My cause. My servant does not draw nearer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory acts of worship, and he continues to draw nearer to Me with voluntary acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks. If he asks of Me, I would surely give him, and if he seeks My protection, I would surely protect him. I do not hesitate about anything I do more than I hesitate about taking the soul of a believer because he dislikes death, and I dislike displeasing him.' Abul-Mundhir said, 'Urwa narrated to me that 'Aisha said, and Abul-Mundhir also said, 'It distresses him.'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ مَنْ أَذَلَّ لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ اسْتَحَلَّ مُحَارَبَتِي وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي بِمِثْلِ أَدَاءِ الْفَرَائِضِ وَمَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ إِنْ سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَإِنْ دَعَانِي أَجَبْتُهُ مَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ وَفَاتِهِ لِأَنَّهُ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ وَأَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَهُ وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ قَالَحَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ آذَى لِي  

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا يَقُولُ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَانِي وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا يَزَالُ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا فَإِنْ سَأَلَنِي عَبْدِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَإِنِ اسْتَعَاذَنِي أَعَذْتُهُ وَمَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ نَفْسِ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ وَأَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَهُ»  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ : "Whoever humiliates a friend of mine, he has declared war against me. You will not comprehend what I possess except by fulfilling what I have obligated upon you. My servant continues to approach me with voluntary acts of worship until I love him, and when I love him, I become the hearing with which he hears, the sight with which he sees, and the hand with which he grasps. If he calls upon Me, I answer him, and if he seeks My help, I assist him. And the most beloved type of worship to me is providing sincere advice to My servant."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَهَانَ لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِي بِالْعَدَاوَةِ ابْنَ آدَمَ لَنْ تُدْرِكَ مَا عِنْدِي إِلَّا بِأَدَاءِ مَا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْكَ وَلَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَحَبَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَأَكُونَ قَلْبَهُ الَّذِي يَعْقِلُ بِهِ وَلِسَانَهُ الَّذِي يَنْطِقُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ فَإِذَا دَعَانِي أَجَبْتُهُ وَإِذَا سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَرَنِي نَصَرْتُهُ وَأَحَبُّ عِبَادَةِ عَبْدِي إِلَيَّ النَّصِيحَةُ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, Allah says: 'My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his tongue with which he speaks, and his heart with which he thinks. When he calls upon Me, I answer him, and when he asks of Me, I grant him. And when he seeks My help, I help him. And the most beloved of actions to Me are those that are done regularly."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَقُولُ مَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَأَكُونَ أَنَا سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَلِسَانَهُ الَّذِي يَنْطِقُ بِهِ وَقَلْبَهُ الَّذِي يَعْقِلُ بِهِ فَإِذَا دَعَا أَجَبْتُهُ وَإِذَا سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَرَنِي نَصَرْتُهُ وَأَحَبُّ مَا تَعَبَّدَ لِي عَبْدِي بِهِ النُّصْحُ لِي

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِي بِالْحَرْبِ وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلِيَّ عَبْدِي بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلِيَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا يَزَالُ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلِيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطُشُ بِهَا وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا وَلَئِنْ سَأَلَنِي عَبْدِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَلَئِنِ اسْتَعَاذَنِي لَأُعِيذَنَّهُ وَمَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ نَفْسِ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ وَأَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَهُ  

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah has said, 'Whoever shows hostility towards a close friend of Mine, I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to me than the duties I have obligated upon him. My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he grasps, and his leg with which he walks. If he were to ask Me, I would surely give to him; and if he were to seek refuge in Me, I would surely protect him.' And the rest of the Hadith, I have mentioned it in the book of names and attributes with its interpretation."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِي بِالْحَرْبِ وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدٌ بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا زَالَ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي عَلَيْهَا وَلَئِنْ سَأَلَنِي عَبْدِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَلَئِنْ اسْتَعَاذَنِي لَأُعِيذَنَّهُ وَذَكَرَ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ قَدْ أَخْرَجْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْأَسْمَاءِ وَالصِّفَاتِ مَعَ تَأْوِيلِهِ  

" عَنْ أنَسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ، عَنْ جِبْرِيلَ عَنْ ربِّهِ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - قَالَ: مَنْ أخَافَ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ: مَنْ أَهَانَ لي وَلِيّا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِى بِالمُحَارَبة، وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إلَىَّ عَبْدِى المُؤْمِنُ بمِثْلِ أو ما افترضت عليه، وما يزال عبدى المؤمن يتنفل إلىَّ حتى أحبه، ومن أحببته كنت له سمعا، وبصرا، ويدا، ومؤيدا، إن سألنى أعطيته، وإن دعانى أجبته، وفى لفظ: دعانى فأجبته، وسألنى فأعطيته، ونصح لى فنصحت له، وما ترددتُ في شئ أنا فاعله ما ترددت في قبض نفس مؤمن يكره الموت، وأكره مساءته ولا بد له منه، وإن من عبادى المؤمنين لمن يَشْتَهى الباب من العبادة فأكفه عنه لئلا يدخله عُجب فيفسده، ذلك وإن من عبادى المؤمنين لمن لا يصلح إيمانه إلا الغنى ولو أفقرته لأفسده، وإن من عبادى المؤمنين لمن لا يصلح إيمانه إلا الفقر ولو بسطت له لأفسده ذلك، وإن من عبادى المؤمنين لمن لا يصلح إيمانه إلا الصحة ولو أسقمته لأفسده ذلك، وإن من عبادى المؤمنين لمن لا يصلح إيمانه إلا السقم، ولو أصححته، لأفسده ذلك، إنى أُدبر عبادى بعلمى بقلوبهم إنى عليم خبير ".

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى قَال: مَنْ عَادى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بالْحَرْبِ، وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إليَّ عَبْدِي بَشَيءٍ أحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيه، وَمَا يَزالُ عَبْدى يتَقَرَّبُ إِلَّى بالنَّوَافِلِ حتَّى أحِبَّهُ، فَإِذا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ، وَبَصَرهُ الذي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ، ويَدَهُ الَّتي يبطشُ بِهَا، وَرِجلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا، وإن سَألَنى لأعْطِيَنَّه، وَإنِ اسْتَعَاذَ بى لأُعيذنَّهُ، وَمَا تَردَّدت عَن شَيءٍ أنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدى عَن قَبْضِ نَفْسِ الْمُؤمِنِ يكْرَهُ الْموْتَ، وَأنا أكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَه" .  

"إِن الله تَعَالى يَقُولُ: مَنْ أهَانَ لِيَ وَلِيًا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِى بِالعَدَاوَةِ! ابْنَ آدَمَ لَنْ تُدْرِكَ مَا عنْدى إِلا بِأدَاءِ مَا افْتَرضْتُ عَلَيكَ، وَلَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إِليَّ بالنَّوَافِلِ حتَّى أحبه؛ فَأكُون أَنا سَمْعَهُ الذِى يَسْمَعُ به، وَبَصَرَهُ الذي يُبْصِرُ به، وَلِسَانَه الذي يَنْطِقُ به وقَلبَهُ الذي يَعْقِلُ به؛ فَإِذَا دَعَانِى أجَبْتُه، وَإِذا سَألَنِى أَعْطَيتُه، وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَرَنِى نَصَرْتُهُ، وَأحَبُّ ما تَعَبدَ لِيَ عَبْدِي به النصحُ لي".  

"قَال اللهُ ﷻ: مَنْ آذَي ليِ وَليَا، فَقَدْ اسْتَحَلَّ مُحَارَبَتِي، وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي قَبْلَ أَدَاءِ الْفَرَائِضِ، وَمَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِل حَتَّى أُحِبَّه، فَإذا أَحْبَبْتُه كُنْتُ عَينَه الَّتِي يُبْصِرُ بهَا، وَأَذُنَهُ الَّتي يَسْمَعُ بها، وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا, وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتَي يَمْشِي بِهَا وَفُؤَادَهُ الَّذِي يَعقِلُ بِه، وَلِسَانَهُ الَّدي يَتَكَلَّم بِه، إِنْ دَعَانِي أَجَبْتُه، وَإِنْ سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيتُهُ وَمَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَيءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ وَفَاتِه، وَذَاكَ لأنَّهُ يَكْره الْمَوْتَ وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَه".  

"قَال اللهُ -تَعَالى-: مَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ الْعَبْدُ بِمِثْل أَدَاءِ فَرَائِضِي، وإِنَّهُ لَيَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ، فَإذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ رِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشي بهَا, ويَدَه الَّتي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا، وَلِسَانَه الَّذِي يَنْطِقُ بِهِ، وَقَلْبَهُ الَّذِي يَعْقِل بِه, إِنْ سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيتُهَ، وَإِنْ دَعَانِي أَجَبْتُهْ".
