"عن ابن عباسٍ قال: أَخذَ عمرُ بنُ الخطابِ بِيدِى فعلَّمَنِى التَّشَهُّدَ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ أَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ فَعَلَّمَهُ التَّشَهُّدَ: التحياتُ لله، الصلواتُ الطيباتُ المباركاتُ لله".
