"عَنِ الشَّعْبِىِّ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ: وَاللَّه لَقَدْ لَانَ قَلْبِى فِى اللَّه حَتَّى لَهُوَ أَلْيَنُ مِن الزُّبْدِ، وَلَقَدْ اشْتَدَّ قَلبِى فِى اللَّه حَتَّى لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الحَجَرِ".
