"عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّب أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ لَمَّا جَلَدَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الَّذينَ شَهِدُوا عَلَى الْمُغِيرةِ اسْتَتابَهُم، فَرَجَعَ اثْنَان فَقَبِلَ شَهَادَتَهُمَا، وأَبَى (أبُو) (*) بَكْرَةَ أَنْ يرجع فرد شهادته".
