"مِثْلُ الَّذِي لِي مَا عَدَلَ في الْحُكْمِ وأَقْسطَ في الْقِسْطِ، ورَحِم ذَا الرَّحم، فَمنْ لمْ يفْعلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيس مِنِّي ولَسْتُ مِنْهُ".  

الحسن بن سفيان، والباوردى، وابن قانع، [طب] الطبرانى في الكبير وابن عساكر، [ض] ضياء المقدسي في مختاره عن بلال بن سعيد عن أَبيه قال قلنا يا رسول الله ما (للخليفة) (*) من بعدك؟ قال فذكره

"عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا لِلْخَلِيفَةِ بَعْدَكَ؟ قَالَ: مِثْلُ الَّذِى لِى مَا عَدَلَ فِى الْحُكْمِ، وَأَقْسَطَ فِى الْقِسْطِ، وَرَحِمَ ذَا الرَّحِمِ، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ".
