"مَا أعْطِيتُ فَضيلَةً إِلَّا وَقَد أُعْطِيتَ شَطرًا مِنْهَا، حَتَّى الشَّهَادَةَ فَإِنِّى أُعْطَاهَا بِسُمِّ أكلَة خيبَر، وَتُؤتَاهَا بِسُمِّ أفْعَى لَيلَةِ الغَار" قَالهُ: لأبي بَكْر".
