Reciting the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah at night
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah in a night, they will suffice him."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ بِالآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "If one recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night)."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الآيَتَانِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ مَنْ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ

The sufficiency of the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah
I met Abu Masud at the ˹Sacred˺ House, and I said, “A hadith has reached me from you concerning the two verses in Surat al-Baqarah.” He said, “Yes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The two verses from the end of Surah al-Baqarah—whoever recites them in a night, they will suffice him."”
لَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ، فَقُلْتُ: حَدِيثٌ بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ فِي الآيَتَيْنِ فِي سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «الآيَتَانِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، مَنْ قَرَأَهُمَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ».
If anyone recites the two verses at the end of Surah al-Baqara at night, they would suffice for him 'Abd al-Rahman said: I met Abu Mas'ud and he was circumambulating the House (of Allah) and asked him about this (tradition) and he narrated it to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَرَأَ هَاتَيْنِ الآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
I asked Abu Mas'ud while he was making circumambulation of the Ka'bah (about the recitation of some verses from the Qur'an). He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If anyone recited two verses from the last of Surah al-Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him.
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَرَأَ الآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.” In his narration (one of the narrators) Hafs said: “ʿAbdur-Rahman said: ‘I met Abu Masʿud when he was performing Tawaf, and he narrated this to me.’”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ آيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ {آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ}
[AI] So, I met Abu Mas'ud while he was performing Tawaf around the Ka'bah, and I said to him, "Tell me a hadith that you have heard from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ." He replied, "Yes, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The two verses from the end of Surah Al-Baqarah, whoever recites them in one night, they will be sufficient for him.' And the two verses are 'The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord.'"
