"عَنِ الْمِسْورِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ يَقُولُ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانَا يَتَأوَّلَانِ في هَذَا الْمَاَلِ ظَلَفَ أَنْفُسِهِمَا، وَذَوِى أَرْحَامِهِمَا، وَإِنِّى تَأَوَّلْتُ فِيهِ صِلَةَ رَحِمِى".
