We never considered yellowish discharge as a thing of importance (as menses).

We would not take into consideration brown and yellow (fluid) after purification.
عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ وَكَانَتْ بَايَعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كُنَّا لاَ نَعُدُّ الْكُدْرَةَ وَالصُّفْرَةَ بَعْدَ الطُّهْرِ شَيْئًا

[Machine] About Umm Atiyyah Al-Ansariyah, and she had given her pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ , she said, "We used to not consider using Kudrah or Sufrah after performing a ritual bath as significant."

[Machine] We used to consider the blackness and yellowness as nothing after purification.
