[Machine] "I visited Ibn Mas'ood from one Ramadan to the next, and I never saw him on any day except that I would meet him. I never saw him fasting on a day except for the day of Ashura."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٨٦٠أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ

«أَتَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فِيمَا بَيْنَ رَمَضَانَ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ إِلَّا آتِيهِ فِيهِ فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي يَوْمٍ صَائِمًا إِلَّا يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ»
