Ibn Abbas reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (the eating) of all the fanged beasts of prey, and of all the birds having talons.

Ibn 'Abbas reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the eating of all fanged beasts of prey, and all the birds having talons.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَعَنْ كُلِّ ذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ
the Prophet forbade eating any predator that has fangs."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ
the Messenger of Allah forbade eating the flesh of horses, mules and donkeys, and any predator that has fangs.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْبِغَالِ وَالْحَمِيرِ وَكُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ
on the Day of Khaibar, the Prophet of Allah forbade eating any birds with talons and any predators with fangs. (Daif)

He also forbade the eating of land animals that are slaughtered by smothering, and that the reproductive organs of pregnant animals be stepped on until their contents are expelled."

A body of Companions of the Prophet ﷺ had eaten horse-flesh. OF them are: Ibn al-Zubair, Fudalah bin 'Ubaid, Anas bin Malik, Asma' daughter of Abu Bakr, Suwaid bin Ghaflah, 'Alqamah; the Quraish used to slaughter them (horses) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
