ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ قَطْعِ الْمَرْءِ الْأَشْيَاءَ الَّتِي تُؤْكَلُ ضِدَّ قَوْلِ مَنْ كَرِهَهُ

ibnhibban:5241 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Yaḥyá b. Mūsá b. Khat > Ibrāhīm b. ʿUyaynah > ʿAmr b. Manṣūr > al-Shaʿbī > Ibn ʿUmar

The Prophet ﷺ was brought a piece of cheese in Tabuk. He called for a knife, mentioned Allah's name and cut it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3819)  

ابن حبّان:٥٢٤١ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ خَتٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِجُبْنَةٍ مِنْ تَبُوكَ فَدَعَا بِسِكِّينٍ فَسَمَّى وَقَطَعَ»
