[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say after finishing his food, "Praise be to Allah, much abundant and pure and blessed praise. It is not enough nor is it temporarily stored, and none can be self-sufficient without it."  

ابن حبّان:٥٢١٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ جَشِيبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

When the food cloth was removed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “praise be to Allah abundantly and sincerely, of such a nature as is productive of blessing, is not insufficient, Abandoned, or ignored, O our lord.”

when the table spread would be lifted from in front of him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say: “All praise is due to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise, without being left off, nor being without need of it, O our Lord (Al-ḥamdulillāhi ḥamdan kathīran ṭayyiban mubārakan fīhi, ghaira muwaddaʿin, wa lā mustaghnan ʿanhu rabbanā).”

[Machine] "I have stood in this place of mine, and I am not a preacher, nor do I want to preach. But I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'After completing a meal, praise be to Allah abundantly, with a good and blessed praise that is not lacking, not insufficient, and not unnecessary.' He continued repeating them to us until we memorized them."  

أحمد:٢٢٢٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ جَشِيبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ حَضَرْنَا صَنِيعًا لِعَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنَ الطَّعَامِ قَامَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ فَقَالَ

لَقَدْ قُمْتُ مَقَامِي هَذَا وَمَا أَنَا بِخَطِيبٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ الْخُطْبَةَ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ الطَّعَامِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ قَالَ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُرَدِّدُهُنَّ عَلَيْنَا حَتَّى حَفِظْنَاهُنَّ

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الْبُخَارِيِّ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

[Machine] We witnessed a meal at the house of Abdul Alaa, and Abu Umamah was with us. Abu Umamah said, after finishing the food, "When the meal is over, I do not like to be a speaker. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say after finishing the food, 'Praise be to Allah, abundant, pure and blessed praise. A praise that is not temporary or unnecessary.'"

شَهِدْنَا طَعَامًا فِي مَنْزِلِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى وَمَعَنَا أَبُو أُمَامَةَ فَقَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ الطَّعَامِ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكُونَ خَطِيبًا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ الطَّعَامِ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ»

[Machine] I heard Abu Umamah Al-Bahili say that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say when he ate food, "Praise be to Allah, much praise, pure and blessed in it, not diminished, not temporary, and not in need of it."  

الطبراني:٧٦٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَيْهَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ طَعَامِهِ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "Praise be to Allah, much abundant, good, blessed praise, not sufficient or dispensed with."

[Machine] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying after finishing the meal: "O Allah, to You belongs all praise, abundant, good and blessed praise, beyond what is sufficient, separated from dependence, and not in need of it."

Whenever the dining sheet of the Prophet ﷺ was taken away (i.e., whenever he finished his meal), he used to say: "Al-hamdu li l-lah kathiran taiyiban mubarakan fihi ghaira makfiy wala muWadaʿ wala mustaghna'anhu Rabbuna." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5458)
