ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْمُزَارَعَةِ الَّتِي نُهِيَ عَنْهَا

ibnhibban:5193 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Salm > Ḥarmalah b. Yaḥyá > Ibn Wahb > ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith > Bukayr > ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Salamah > al-Nuʿmān b. Abū ʿAyyāsh > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

Nafiʿ reported to me that he heard Ibn ʿUmar (Allah be pleased with them) saying: We usedto give land on rent; we then abandoned this practice when we heard the hadith of Rafiʿ b. Khadij. (Using translation from Muslim 1536w)  

ابن حبّان:٥١٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ» قَالَ بُكَيْرٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُكْرِي أَرْضَنَا تَرَكْنَا ذَلِكَ حِينَ سَمِعْنَا حَدِيثَ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
