ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِالِاتِّشَاحِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ إِذَا صَلَّى الْمَرْءُ فِيهِ

ibnhibban:2303 – Ibn Salm > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ibrāhīm > al-Walīd b. Muslim > al-Awzāʿī > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, should a man pray in a single garment?" The Prophet replied, "Let him wrap himself in it, then let him pray in it."  

ابن حبّان:٢٣٠٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ فَقَالَ «لِيَتَوَشَّحْ بِهِ ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ فِيهِ»
