[Machine] I heard Yahya bin Ma'in say, "Abu Al-Yasar Ka'ab ibn Amr passed away in the year fifty-five in Medina, and he was the last survivor of the Battle of Badr."  

الحاكم:٦٠٧٩ – سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَعْقُوبَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْعَبَّاسَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيَّ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ يَقُولُ «أَبُو الْيَسَرِ كَعْبُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو تُوُفِّيَ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَخَمْسِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ آخِرُ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ وَفَاةً»
