الحاكم:٥٧٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ

«سَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفِ بْنِ وَاهِبِ بْنِ عُكَيْمِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ أَبُو ثَابِتٍ مَاتَ بِالْكُوفَةِ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ »
