الحاكم:٥٥١٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّاهِدُ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ وَشَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ يَسْكُنَانِ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَكَانَ عُبَادَةُ يُكَنَّى أَبَا الْوَلِيدِ»
