الحاكم:٤٩٨٧ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«قُتِلَ أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ شَهِيدًا»
