We were sitting waiting for Abdullah ibn Umar who came out to us and sat. He then said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone's intercession intervenes as an obstacle to one of the punishments prescribed by Allah, he has opposed Allah; if anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists, and if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement. [Machine] We, ten pilgrims from the people of Sham, went out until we arrived in Mecca. Ibn Umar mentioned the hadith, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever intercedes outside the limits set by Allah, his matter has been rejected by Allah. And whoever dies with a debt, it will not be satisfied with a dinar or a dirham, but rather with good deeds and bad deeds. And whoever argues about something false, knowing it to be false, he will remain in the anger of Allah until he stops. And whoever attributes to a believer something that is not in him, Allah will enclose him in the worry of defamation until he withdraws from what he said."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah' (glory be to Allah), 'Alhamdulillah' (praise be to Allah), 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah), and 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest), it will be written for him as ten good deeds for each letter. And whoever supports a person in a false dispute, he will continue to be in the displeasure of Allah until he stops. And whoever intercedes beyond the limits set by Allah, he has transgressed in the matter of Allah. And whoever accuses a believing man or woman falsely, Allah will enclose him in the garment of disgrace on the Day of Judgment until he comes out of what he said, and he is not innocent."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever intercedes beyond the limits set by Allah, has indeed transgressed against Allah in His dominion. And whoever dies while still having a debt, then there is no currency of dinar or dirham, but rather it is good deeds and bad deeds. And whoever disputes in falsehood while knowing it, he remains in the displeasure of Allah until he stops. And whoever speaks about a believer that which is not in him, he is imprisoned in the pit of slander until he comes out of what he said." And Abu Ali Al-Ruzbary informed us that Abu Bakr ibn Dasa narrated to us, and Abu Dawud narrated to us, and Ahmed ibn Yunus mentioned it in a similar way, except for his statement "And whoever dies while still having a debt."

For indeed, one time is multiplied by ten, and ten times is multiplied by one hundred, and one hundred times is multiplied by one thousand, and whatever you add, Allah adds for you.' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever's intercession surpasses a limit of Allah's limit, then he has transgressed Allah in his affair. And whoever dies while he has a debt, then it is not with the dinar or dirham, but rather it is the good deeds and the bad deeds. And whoever argues in falsehood, knowingly, he remains in the wrath of Allah until he desists.
