[Machine] To stay overnight and the next day he sought the advice of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Stay overnight and observe fasting for a day." This is the second Hadith.  

الحاكم:١٦٠٤حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَزَّازُ ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ نَذَرَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ

أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ يَوْمًا فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اعْتَكِفْ وَصُمْ يَوْمًا» الْحَدِيثُ الثَّانِي
