[Machine] The prophet ﷺ said, "The person who is in I'tikaf (seclusion for worship) does not have to fast except if they wish to do so voluntarily."

الحاكم:١٦٠٣ – أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَهْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُعْتَكِفِ صِيَامٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَلِفُقَهَاءِ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فِي ضِدِّ هَذَا حَدِيثَانِ أَذْكُرُهُمَا وَإِنْ كَانَا لَا يُقَاوِمَانِ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ فِي عَدَالَةِ الرُّوَاةِ الْحَدِيثُ الْأَوَّلُ
