22.17 [Machine] Who Loves Wills and Who Hates Them

٢٢۔١٧ بَابُ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ الْوَصِيَّةَ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ

darimi:3268Marwān b. Muḥammad > Sulaymān b. Bilāl > Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad > Yazīd b. ʿAbdullāh b. Qusayṭ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person is more entitled to one-third of his wealth to allocate it to whichever cause he wishes."  

الدارمي:٣٢٦٨أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْمَرْءُ أَحَقُّ بِثُلُثِ مَالِهِ يَضَعُهُ فِي أَيِّ مَالِهِ شَاءَ»  

darimi:3269ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. ʿAbd al-Wārith > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > Abū Ḥabībah > Saʾalt Abū al-Dardāʾ

[Machine] About a man who donated money in the way of Allah, Abu Darda said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the person who gives charity at the time of his death or frees a slave is like the one who gives a gift after being satisfied with his meal."  

الدارمي:٣٢٦٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ

عَنْ رَجُلٍ جَعَلَ دَرَاهِمَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَتَصَدَّقُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ أَوْ يُعْتِقُ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي بَعْدَمَا شَبِعَ»
