٢٢۔ كِتَابُ الْوَصَايَا

22.21 [Machine] Who said that the burial shroud is made from all types of wealth?

٢٢۔٢١ بَابُ: مَنْ قَالَ الْكَفَنُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْمَالِ

[Machine] "The shroud is made of all possessions."  

الدارمي:٣٢٨٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ

«الْكَفَنُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْمَالِ»  

darimi:3281Ibrāhīm b. Mūsá > Muʿādh > Ashʿath

[Machine] About al-Hasan regarding a man who died and left behind a value of two thousand dirhams, and he has the same amount or more. He said, "He should be buried from the money, and his debt should not be paid."  

الدارمي:٣٢٨١حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ

عَنْ الْحَسَنِ فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ قِيمَةَ أَلْفَيْ دِرْهَمٍ وَعَلَيْهِ مِثْلُهَا أَوْ أَكْثَرُ قَالَ «يُكَفَّنُ مِنْهَا وَلَا يُعْطَى دَيْنُهُ»

[Machine] "It starts with the burial shroud, then the debt, and then the will."  

الدارمي:٣٢٨٢حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ

«يُبْدَأُ بِالْكَفَنِ ثُمَّ الدَّيْنِ ثُمَّ الْوَصِيَّةِ»

[Machine] "She is buried with her wealth, the husband has no share"  

الدارمي:٣٢٨٣حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَمُوتُ قَالَ

«تُكَفَّنُ مِنْ مَالِهَا لَيْسَ عَلَى الزَّوْجِ شَيْءٌ»  

darimi:3284Saʿīd b. al-Mughīrah > Ibn al-Mubārak > Ibn Jurayj > ʿAṭāʾ

[Machine] "The grains and shroud are from the head of wealth."  

الدارمي:٣٢٨٤حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ

«الْحَنُوطُ وَالْكَفَنُ مِنْ رَأْسِ الْمَالِ»  

darimi:3285Muḥammad b. ʿUyaynah > ʿAlī b. Mushir > Ismāʿīl > al-Ḥasan

[Machine] "The shroud is made from the midst of wealth, so it is shrouded according to what he used to wear in his lifetime, then the debts are paid off, and then the remaining third is distributed."  

الدارمي:٣٢٨٥حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

«الْكَفَنُ مِنْ وَسَطِ الْمَالِ فيُكَفَّنُ عَلَى قَدْرِ مَا كَانَ يَلْبَسُ فِي حَيَاتِهِ ثُمَّ يُخْرَجُ الدَّيْنُ ثُمَّ الثُّلُثُ»
