Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah! Forgive those who get their heads shaved." The people asked. "Also those who get their hair cut short?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved." The people said, "Also those who get their hair cut short?" The Prophet (invoke Allah for those who have their heads shaved and) at the third time said, "also (forgive) those who get their hair cut short."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَهَا ثَلاَثًا قَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ

O Allah, have mercy upon those who get their heads shaved. They (the Companions) said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who have got their hair clipped? He said: O Allah, have mercy upon those who have got their heads shaved. They (again) said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who have got their hair clipped? Thereupon he said: (O Allah, have mercy upon those) who have got their hair clipped.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

May Allah have mercy upon those who have got their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about) those who got their hair clipped? He said: May Allah have mercy upon those who have got their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those who have got their hair clipped)? He said: May Allah have mercy upon those who got their hair shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about) those who got their hair clipped? He said: (O Allah, have mercy upon) those who got their hair clipped.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

O Allah, grant pardon to those who got their heads shaved. They (Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair cut? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who got their hair clipped? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair clipped? He said: (O Allah, grant pardon to) those who get their hair clipped.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, and those who have clipped their hair. He again said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, those who have clipped their hair. He said: and those who clip their hair.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

“O Allah, forgive those who shave (their heads).” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, and those who cut (their hair)?’ He said; “O Allah, forgive those who shave (their heads),” three times. They said: “O Messenger of Allah, and those who cut (their hair)?” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ثَلاَثًا قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

“May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." It was asked, "And what about those who trim?" He said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave." He said again in the fourth time, "And on those who trim."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] The passage translates to: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads.' A man asked, 'And what about those who trim their hair?' He replied, 'O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads.' The man asked again, 'And what about those who trim their hair?' He said, 'In the third or fourth group, and also forgive those who trim their hair.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَلِلمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ وَلِلمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] "Men shaved their heads on the day of Hudaybiyyah, while others trimmed their hair. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May Allah have mercy on those who shaved.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what about those who trimmed?' He said, 'May Allah have mercy on those who shaved.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what about those who trimmed?' He said, 'May Allah have mercy on those who shaved.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what about those who trimmed?' He said, 'And those who trimmed.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, why is it that mercy is apparent for those who shaved?' He said, 'Because they did not express any doubt.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away."

حَلَقَ رِجَالٌ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَقَصَّرَ آخَرُونَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالُوا فَمَا بَالُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ظَاهَرْتَ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَةَ؟ قَالَ لَمْ يَشُكُّوا قَالَ فَانْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, and those who have clipped their hair. He again said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, those who have clipped their hair. He said: and those who clip their hair. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] On the day of Hudaybiyah, the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive those who have shaved their heads." A man asked, "What about those who have cut their hair short?" Allah's Messenger repeated, "O Allah, forgive those who have shaved their heads." The man asked again about those who have cut their hair short, and the Prophet repeated the dua again. This happened for three or four times. Then, the Prophet said, "And forgive those who have cut their hair short."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ

“May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3044)

O Allah, grant pardon to those who got their heads shaved. They (Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair cut? قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ was travelling on the road to Makkah and he came upon Jumdan. He said, "This is Jumdan, let those who are ahead go ahead." They asked, "Who are those who are ahead?" He replied, "Those who remember Allah frequently." Then he said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They asked, "What about those who trim their hair?" He replied, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They asked again, "And what about those who trim their hair?" He replied, "And those who trim their hair too."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسِيرُ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَأَتَى عَلَى جُمْدَانَ فَقَالَ هَذَا جُمْدَانُ سِيرُوا سَبَقَ الْمُفَرِّدُونَ قَالُوا وَمَا الْمُفَرِّدُونَ؟ قَالَ الذَّاكِرُونَ اللهَ كَثِيرًا ثُمَّ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفَرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] Yahya was one of those who witnessed the Farewell Pilgrimage. He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said on the third time: "And the holdbackers."

يَحْيَى وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads, O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." A man from the people asked, "And what about the ones who trim their hair and do not completely shave it off?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In the third or fourth category are those who trim their hair and do not completely shave it off," and then he said, "And I, on that day, will be a person who has completely shaved his head, so what pleases me with my head being shaved is the redness of grace or a great reward."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالَ يَقُولُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مَحْلُوقُ الرَّأْسِ فَمَا يَسُرُّنِي بِحَلْقِ رَأْسِي حُمْرُ النَّعَمِ أَوْ خِطْرًا عَظِيمًا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "May Allah have mercy upon those who shave their heads." They asked, "What about those who trim their hair?" He replied, "May Allah have mercy upon those who trim their hair as well."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." A man asked, "What about those who trim their hair?" He replied, "They will have their sins minimized by Sufyan, with his hand." Sufyan said, "And he said, 'as if he is widening his hand.'"

Note: The passage is a conversation that took place between people discussing the forgiveness of those who shave their heads and those who only trim their hair during the pilgrimage.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يُقَلِّلُهُ سُفْيَانُ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَقَالَ فِي تِيكَ كَأَنَّهُ يُوَسِّعُ يَدَهُ

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying "May Allah have mercy on the ones who have shaved their heads." They said, "What about those who have trimmed their hair short?" He replied, "And may Allah have mercy on those who have trimmed their hair short as well."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, have mercy on those who shave their hair." They said, "And those who shorten (their hair), Messenger of Allah." He said, "O Allah, have mercy on those who shave." They said, "And those who shorten, Messenger of Allah." He said, "And those who shorten."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, and those who have clipped their hair. He again said: O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved. The people said: Messenger of Allah, those who have clipped their hair. He said: and those who clip their hair. “O Allah, forgive those who shave (their heads).” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, and those who cut (their hair)?’ He said; “O Allah, forgive those who shave (their heads),” three times. They said: “O Messenger of Allah, and those who cut (their hair)?” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3043)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالرَّابِعَةِ «وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked, "What about those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked again, "What about those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked for the fourth time, "And what about those who trim their hair?"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "What about those who cut their hair short?" He said the same in the third time, "And those who cut their hair short."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ «وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." They asked, "What about those who trim their hair, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied after a while, "And those who trim their hair as well."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «رَحِمَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave (their heads)." A man said, "And the ones who trim (their hair)?" He said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave." Then, the man said, "And the ones who trim?" He repeated for the third or fourth time, "And the ones who trim."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ «وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who trim their hair?" He said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." Then he said, "I mean both."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ يَعْنِي فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah! Forgive those who get their heads shaved." The people asked. "Also those who get their hair cut short?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved." The people said, "Also those who get their hair cut short?" The Prophet (invoke Allah for those who have their heads shaved and) at the third time said, "also (forgive) those who get their hair cut short." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1728)

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

“May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3044)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, and those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, and those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "And those who trim their hair?" He said, "And those who trim their hair."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

"اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلمُحَلِّقينَ، قَالُوا: والمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! قَال: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلمحَلِّقينَ: قَال فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالمُقصِّرِينَ".

"اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَم المُحَلِّقينَ: قَالُوا: والمُقَصِّرينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَال: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ المُحَلِّقِينَ: قَال في الثالِثَةِ وَالمُقَصِّرينَ ".

"عَنْ حُبْشِىِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للْمُحلِّقِينَ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله وَالْمُقصِّرِينَ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلمُحَلِّقِينَ، قَالَ فِى الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَالَ يَوْمَ الحُدَيْبيَة: يَرْحَمُ الله المُحَلِّقينَ، قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ الله، وَالمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ: يَرْحَمُ الله المُحَلِّقِينً ثَلاثا، قَالُوا: وَالمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ الله، قَالَ: وَالمُقَصِّرينَ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ الله، مَا بَالُ المُحَلِّقِينَ ظَاهَرْتَ لَهُمُ التَّرَحُّمَ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَشُكُّوا".

"عَنْ أبِى سَعِيدٍ أن رسُولَ الله ﷺ حَلَقَ يَوْمَ الحديبيةِ هُو وَأصْحَاُبهُ إلا عُثْمَانَ وَأَبَا قَتَادَة، فَقَال رسولُ الله ﷺ يَرْحَمُ الله المُحلقِينَ، قَالُوا: وَالمقصِّرينَ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَالَ: يَرْحَمُ الله -تَعَالَى- المحلِّقِينَ، قالُوا: وَالمقَصرينَ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَالَ: والمقصِّرينَ".
