[Machine] And it is mentioned that some people disagreed regarding the call to prayer, so Saad intervened between them.
وَيُذْكَرُ أَنَّ أَقْوَامًا اخْتَلَفُوا فِي الأَذَانِ فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ سَعْدٌ.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "(1) If people knew what is in the call to prayer and the first row, then found no way except to draw lots for it, they would draw lots. (2) If they knew what is in going early, they would race to it. (3) And if they knew what is in darkness ˹of the night˺ and Fajr, they would come to them even if crawling."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «(١) لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ، لاَسْتَهَمُوا، (٢) وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ، لاَسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ، (٣) وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ، لأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا».
