And Ibrahim said it is not necessary to perform ablution before making the call to prayer. And Ata said ablution is an obligation and a sunnah. وَيُذْكَرُ عَنْ بِلاَلٍ أَنَّهُ جَعَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ. وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لاَ يَجْعَلُ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ. وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ. وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ الْوُضُوءُ حَقٌّ وَسُنَّةٌ. وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ أَحْيَانِهِ.
