The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: There is for every apostle a prayer which is granted, but every prophet showed haste in his prayer. I have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection, and it would be granted, if Allah so willed, in case of everyone amongst my Ummah provided he dies without associating anything with Allah.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every Messenger is endowed with a prayer which is granted and by which he would (pray to his Lord) and it would he granted for him. I have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummab on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَيُؤْتَاهَا وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There was for every apostle a prayer with which he prayed for his Ummah and it was granted to him; but I wish, if Allah so wills, to defer my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ فَاسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

“Every Prophet has a (special) supplication which is answered. Verily, I have reserved mine as intercession for my nation, and it shall reach, if Allah wills, those of them who die, not associating anything with Allah.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي وَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

“Every Prophet had a prayer that was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer in this world. But I am saving my prayer so that I can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one of them who dies not associating anything with Allah.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

[Machine] Abu Hurairah and Ka'ab gathered, and Abu Hurairah began to narrate to Ka'ab a saying of the Prophet ﷺ , and Ka'ab began to narrate to Abu Hurairah from the books. Abu Hurairah said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Every prophet has a prayer that is answered, and indeed I have saved my prayer as intercession for my Ummah on the Day of Judgment.'"

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[Machine] “And the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: Every prophet has a supplication that is answered. And I want, if Allah wills, that my supplication be delayed to be intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ تُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

“Every Prophet had a prayer that was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer in this world. But I am saving my prayer so that I can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one of them who dies not associating anything with Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4307)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي يَعْنِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication that is answered, and I have saved my supplication as an intercession for my nation. It will be directed to anyone among them who dies, if Allah wills, provided that person does not associate anything with Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا

[Machine] For every prophet, there is a supplication that is answered. Every prophet hurries to make their supplication, but I have kept my supplication as intercession for my nation until the Day of Resurrection, and it will be granted, if Allah wills, to whoever from my nation dies without associating anything with Allah." Ka'b asked Abu Huraira, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah?" Abu Huraira said, "Yes."

لِكَعْبِ الْأَحْبَارِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ كَعْبٌ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَسَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ نَعَمْ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا لأُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ إلاَّ رَوْحُ بن عبادة

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ، فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَهِى نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ الله مَنْ مَاتَ مِن أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيئًا".

"إِنَّ لكلِّ نبىٍّ دَعْوَةً تَعَجَّلَهَا في الدُّنْيا، وَإِنِّى اختبأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةٌ لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ القيامَةِ للمُذْنِبينَ المُتَلَطِّخِينَ".
