Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For every prophet there is one (special invocation (that will not be rejected) with which he appeals (to Allah), and I want to keep such an invocation for interceding for my followers in the Hereafter."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا وَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي فِي الآخِرَةِ

that the Prophet ﷺ said, "For every prophet there is an invocation that surely will be responded by Allah," (or said), "For every prophet there was an invocation with which he appealed to Allah, and his invocation was accepted (in his lifetime), but I kept my (this special) invocation to intercede for my followers on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ سَأَلَ سُؤْلاً أَوْ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فَاسْتُجِيبَ فَجَعَلْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For every Prophet there is one invocation which is definitely fulfilled by Allah, and I wish, if Allah will, to keep my that (special) invocation as to be the intercession for my followers on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ فَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِيَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Verity the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is for every apostle a (special) prayer with which he would pray. I wish I could reserve, my prayer for intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُوهَا فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is for every apostle a prayer, and I intend (if Allah so willed) that I would reserve my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ وَأَرَدْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Abu Huraira said to Ka'b al-Ahbar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said: For every apostle there Is a (special) prayer by which he would pray (to his Lord). I, however, intend (if Allah so willed) that I would reserve my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection. Ka'b said to Abu Huraira: Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? Abu Huraira said: Yes.

لِكَعْبِ الأَحْبَارِ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُوهَا فَأَنَا أُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: There is for every apostle a prayer which is granted, but every prophet showed haste in his prayer. I have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection, and it would be granted, if Allah so willed, in case of everyone amongst my Ummah provided he dies without associating anything with Allah.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every Messenger is endowed with a prayer which is granted and by which he would (pray to his Lord) and it would he granted for him. I have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummab on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَيُؤْتَاهَا وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There was for every apostle a prayer with which he prayed for his Ummah and it was granted to him; but I wish, if Allah so wills, to defer my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ فَاسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَاهَا لأُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

For every apostle was a prayer with which he prayed (to his Lord) for his Ummah, but I have reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَخَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

“Every Prophet has a (special) supplication which is answered. Verily, I have reserved mine as intercession for my nation, and it shall reach, if Allah wills, those of them who die, not associating anything with Allah.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي وَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

“Every Prophet had a prayer that was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer in this world. But I am saving my prayer so that I can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one of them who dies not associating anything with Allah.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is for every apostle a prayer, and I intend (if Allah so willed) that I would reserve my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 198b)

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ وَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] Abu Hurairah and Ka'ab gathered, and Abu Hurairah began to narrate to Ka'ab a saying of the Prophet ﷺ , and Ka'ab began to narrate to Abu Hurairah from the books. Abu Hurairah said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Every prophet has a prayer that is answered, and indeed I have saved my prayer as intercession for my Ummah on the Day of Judgment.'"

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] “And the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: Every prophet has a supplication that is answered. And I want, if Allah wills, that my supplication be delayed to be intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ تُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ فَتُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

“Every Prophet had a prayer that was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer in this world. But I am saving my prayer so that I can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one of them who dies not associating anything with Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4307)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي يَعْنِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication that they called upon and it was answered for them. And I have kept my supplication as an intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فَاسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ وَإِنِّي اسْتَخْبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every prophet has a supplication that he called upon his nation with, and indeed I have hidden my supplication as an intercession for my nation."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication with which he supplicated for his nation, and indeed, I have kept my supplication as an intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً دَعَا بِهَا لِأُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every prophet has a supplication with which he supplicated and he was answered, and indeed I have kept my supplication as intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا فَاسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ وَإِنِّي اسْتَخْبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication which he called upon for his nation, and I have saved my supplication as intercession for my nation."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْدَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication, and I have kept my supplication as intercession for my Ummah (community) on the Day of Resurrection."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] "He (Jabir ibn Abdullah) heard that every prophet has a supplication for his Ummah (nation), and I have kept my supplication as intercession for my Ummah on the Day of Judgment, meaning the Prophet ﷺ ."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَخَبَّأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication that they made, and I have saved my supplication as an intercession for my Ummah (nation) on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ فَدَعَا بِهَا وَإِنِّي اسْتَخْبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every prophet is given a supplication (dua), and I wish to preserve my dua as intercession for my community in the next world.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي فِي الآخِرَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a prayer that he made for his Ummah (community), and I have hidden my prayer as an intercession for my Ummah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً دَعَاهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every Prophet has a supplication that he made for his nation, and I have saved my supplication as an intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every prophet has a supplication that he makes, and I have kept my supplication as an intercession for my nation in the hereafter."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا وَإِنِّي أَخَّرْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every prophet has a prayer that he has made for his nation, and I have kept my prayer as an intercession for my nation on the Day of Judgment."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَاهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

قَالَ كَانَ نَّبِيّ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ سَأَلَ سُؤْلًا وَلِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ فَاخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يوم القيامة

أَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بِهَا وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأمتي

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لكل نبي دعوة مستجابة وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فتعجل كل نبي دعوته فهي نائلة إن شاء الله لمن مات لا يشرك بالله شيئا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication that is answered, and I have saved my supplication as an intercession for my nation. It will be directed to anyone among them who dies, if Allah wills, provided that person does not associate anything with Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا

[AI] For every prophet, there is a supplication that is answered. Every prophet hurries to make their supplication, but I have kept my supplication as intercession for my nation until the Day of Resurrection, and it will be granted, if Allah wills, to whoever from my nation dies without associating anything with Allah." Ka'b asked Abu Huraira, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah?" Abu Huraira said, "Yes."

لِكَعْبِ الْأَحْبَارِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً مُسْتَجَابَةً فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ كَعْبٌ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَسَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ نَعَمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, every prophet has a supplication that he has invoked for his nation, and I have hidden my supplication as an intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

"إِنَّ لكلِّ نبىٍّ دعوةً قدْ دعا بِها في أُمَّتِهِ فاسْتُجِيبَ لهُ، وَإنِّى اخْتَبأتُ دعوتى شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ".

"إِنَّ لكلِّ نبىٍّ دَعْوَةً تَعَجَّلَهَا في الدُّنْيا، وَإِنِّى اختبأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةٌ لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ القيامَةِ للمُذْنِبينَ المُتَلَطِّخِينَ".

"إِنِّى خَبَّأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةً لأُمتَّى يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ".

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِه، وَإِنِّي خَبَّأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقيَامَةِ".

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا، فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ، فَتَعَجَّلَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَتَهُ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَهِى نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ الله مَنْ مَاتَ مِن أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيئًا".

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا، فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَيُؤتَاهَا، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأتُ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَةَ لأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".

"لِكُلِّ نَبيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ دَعَا بهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ فَاسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ، وَإِني أُرِيدُ -إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ- أَنْ أَدَّخِرَ دَعْوَتِى شَفَاعَة لَأُمَّتِى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
