[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I do not know whether Tubba' was a Prophet or not, and I do not know whether Dhul-Qarnayn was a Prophet or not, and I do not know whether the prescribed punishments (hudood) are expiations for the people or not."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not know whether Tubba was a cursed or not. And, I do not know whether Dhu al-Qarnayn was a Prophet or not. And, I do not know whether hudud (capital punishments) ˹serve˺ as expiation for those are deserve them."
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not know if he (the person being followed) was a righteous person or not, and I do not know if Dhul-Qarnayn was a prophet or not, and I do not know if the prescribed punishments are an expiation for those who receive them or not."
[AI] "The phrase refers to a woman's right over her brother's daughter or her sister's daughter. Abu Sa'id bin Abi 'Amr informed us, Abu al-Abbas al-Asamm narrated to us, Rabee'ah narrated to us, Al-Shafi'i mentioned the Hadith of Al-A'raj from Abu Hurairah. Then he said, 'And by this, we take it as the statement of the scholars, there is no difference of opinion among them regarding what I know and what has not been proven from a reliable source by the people of Hadith except from Abu Hurairah, and it has been narrated from other sources that are not confirmed by the people of Hadith from other sources. And in this there is evidence against those who reject the Hadith, and against those who take one Hadith and leave another.' He spoke at length in this matter and did well. What has been mentioned about being narrated from other than Abu Hurairah, as he said, is that it is narrated from Ali, Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Abdullah bin Umar, Abdullah bin Abbas, Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, and Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with them all. And among the women, it is narrated from Aisha. They are all narrations from the Prophet, except that all these narrations are not a condition for Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, but they agreed upon it, as did those before them and those after them among the imams of Hadith, in affirming the Hadith of Abu Hurairah in this matter only. As Al-Shafi'i may Allah have mercy on him said. Al-Bukhari also reported the narration of Aasim al-Ahwal from Al-Shaabi from Jabir bin Abdullah, except that they see it as an error and that the correct narration is from Dawood bin Abi Hind and Abdullah bin Awun from Al-Shaabi from Abu Hurairah. And Allah knows best."

[AI] "A Bedouin man from the tribe of Banu Fazara came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Indeed, my wife has given birth to a dark-skinned boy.' The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Do you have any camels?' He replied, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ asked, 'What are their colors?' He answered, 'Red.' The Prophet ﷺ then asked, 'Do any of them have white markings?' He replied, 'Yes, some of them have white markings.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Perhaps it is from the genes of one of them that the child inherited this.' The phrase 'perhaps it is from the genes of one of them' is a narration from Imam Shafi'i, and in the narration of Qutaiba, it mentions that a man from the tribe of Banu Fazara came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Perhaps it is from the genes of one of them.'"
