I have declared sacred the territory between the two lava plains of Medina, so its trees should not be cut down, or its game killed; and he also said: Medina is best for them if they knew. No one leaves it through dislike of it without Allah putting in it someone better than he in place of him; and no one will stay there in spite of its hardships and distress without my being an intercessor or witness on behalf of him on the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَىِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ عِضَاهُهَا أَوْ يُقْتَلَ صَيْدُهَا وَقَالَ الْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ لاَ يَدَعُهَا أَحَدٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا إِلاَّ أَبْدَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ وَلاَ يَثْبُتُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لأْوَائِهَا وَجَهْدِهَا إِلاَّ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ عِضَاهُهَا أَوْ يُقْتَلَ صَيْدُهَا وَقَالَ الْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا إِلا أَبْدَلَ اللهُ فِيهَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ وَلا يَثْبُتُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَجَهْدِهَا إِلا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, there are men who incite their tribes to say 'good, good' while the city is better for them if they only knew. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one endures its hardships and difficulties except that I will be a witness or intercessor for them on the Day of Resurrection. And by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, it will expel its people just as the bellows removes the impurities from iron. And by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one leaves it desiring something else except that Allah will replace it with something better."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ رِجَالًا يَسْتَنْفِرُونَ عَشَائِرَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ الْخَيْرَ الْخَيْرَ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهَا لَتَنْفِي أَهْلَهَا كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ رَاغِبًا عَنْهَا إِلَّا أَبْدَلَهَا اللهُ ﷻ خَيْرًا مِنْهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one leaves it, meaning the city, out of their desire for it, except that Allah will replace it with something better for it. And the city is better for them if they only knew."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا إِلَّا أَبْدَلَهَا اللَّهُ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهَا مِنْهُ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ»

"إِنّى أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لابَتَى المدينَةِ أَن يُقْطَعَ عِضَاهُهَا، أوْ يُقْتَلَ صَيْدُهَا، المدينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانوا يَعْلَمُونَ، لا يَدَعُهَا أَحَدٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا إِلا أَبْدَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ، وَلا يثبُتُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لأوَائِهَا وَجَهْدهَا إِلا كنْتُ لَهُ شَفيعًا أو شَهيدًا يَوْمَ الْقيَامة، وَلا يُريدُ أَحَدٌ أَهْلَ الْمَدينَة بسُوء إِلا أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ في النَّارِ ذَوْبَ الرَّصَاصِ أَوْ ذَوْبَ الملْحِ فِى الْمَاءِ) .

"إِنَّ رجالًا يَسْتَنْفِرُونَ بعَشَائِرهم تقولُ الخيرَ والخير ، والمدينةُ خيْرٌ لَهُمْ لو كانُوا يعلمون والذى نفس محمَّد بيده لا يصبر على لأَوَائِها وشدته أَحَدٌ إِلا كنتُ له شَفيعًا أَو شَهيدًا أَوْ هُمَا جميعًا يومَ الْقيَامَة، والذى نفسُ محمَّد بيده، إِنها لتنْفِى

خَبَثَ أَهِلَها كما ينفى الكيرُ خبثَ الحديد، والذى نفسُ محمَّد بيده، لا يَخرجُ فيها أَحدٌ راغبًا عنها إِلَّا أَبدلها اللَّهُ خيرًا منه".
