The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not set out on a journey except for three Mosques i.e. Al-Masjid-AI-Haram, the Mosque of Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Mosque of Al-Aqsa, (Mosque of Jerusalem)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ الرَّسُولِ ﷺ وَمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى

I heard a hadith from Abu Sa'id (Allah be pleased with him) and it impressed me (very much), so I said to him: Did you hear it (yourself) from Messenger of Allah ﷺ? Thereupon he said: (Can) I speak of anything about Messenger of Allah ﷺ which I did not bear? He said: I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Do not set out on a journey (for religious devotion) but for the three mosques-for this mosque of mine (at Medina) the Sacred Mosque (at Mecca), and the Mosque al-Aqsa (Bait al-Maqdis), and I heard him saying also: A woman should not travel for two days duration, but only when there is a Mahram with her or her husband.

سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ حَدِيثًا فَأَعْجَبَنِي فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَأَقُولُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا لَمْ أَسْمَعْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَشُدُّوا الرِّحَالَ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لاَ تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ إِلاَّ وَمَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ مِنْهَا أَوْ زَوْجُهَا

Do not undertake a journey to visit any Mosque, but three: this Mosque of mine, the Mosque of al-Haram and the Mosque of Aqsa (Bait al-Maqdis).

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى

One should undertake journey to three mosques: the mosque of the Ka'ba, my mosque, and the mosque of Elia (Bait al-Maqdis).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يُسَافَرُ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْكَعْبَةِ وَمَسْجِدِي وَمَسْجِدِ إِيلِيَاءَ

The sacred masjid(of Makkah), this masjid of mine and Al Aqsa masjid(in Jerusalem).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى

Messenger of Allah said: "A mount is not saddled (for a journey) except to three Masajid: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, this Masjid of mine, and Masjid Al-Aqsa." [Abu ʿEisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى

"Mounts are not saddled for except to (travel to) three Masjids: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, this Masjid of mine, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa."

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The journey is to be made to three mosques, the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca), my mosque (in Medina), and the Al-Aqsa Mosque." Sufyan said: "And the journey is not to be made except to these three mosques, equally."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَلَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ سَوَاءً

“No one should prepare a mount (travel) to visit any mosque except three: the Sacred Mosque, this mosque of mine, and Aqsa Mosque.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1409)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا لِثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى

“No one should prepare a mount (travel) to visit any mosque except three: the Sacred Mosque, this mosque of mine, and Aqsa Mosque.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1409)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not fast for two consecutive days, do not pray two prayers in a row, do not fast on the day of Fitr or the day of Adha, do not pray after Fajr until the sun rises, do not pray after Asr until the sun sets, a woman should not travel three days except with a mahram (a male relative that she cannot marry), and do not embark on a journey except to three mosques: Al-Haram Mosque (in Mecca), my mosque, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَيْنِ وَلَا تُصَلُّوا صَلَاتَيْنِ وَلَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَلَا يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى وَلَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا تُسَافِرُ الْمَرْأَةُ ثَلَاثًا إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا مَحْرَمٌ وَلَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُإِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي وَمَسْجِدِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no fasting on the day of Eid, and a woman should not travel three (days) except with a mahram. And do not begin a journey except to three mosques: the Masjid al-Haram, the Masjid al-Madina, and the Masjid al-Aqsa."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا صَوْمَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ وَلَا تُسَافِرْ امْرَأَةٌ ثَلَاثًا إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ وَلَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُلَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى وَمَسْجِدِي

[AI] We met Abu Sa'id while we were going towards the Mount, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Do not set out on a journey (for religious purposes) except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca), the Mosque of Medina, and Al-Aqsa Mosque (in Jerusalem)."

لَقِينَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ وَنَحْنُ نُرِيدُ الطُّورَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا تُشَدُّ الْمَطِيُّ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا الرِّحْلَةُ إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِكُمْ هَذَا وَإِيلِيَاءَ»

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ تشد الرحال إلاَّ إلى ثلاثة مساجد مسجد الحرام ومسجدي هذا والمسجد الأقصى

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لا تشد الرحال إلاَّ إلى ثلاثة مساجد مسجدي ومسجد الحرام ومسجد الأقصى

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ صَلاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ المساجد إلاَّ مسجد الحرام

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Do not travel for the purpose of visiting any mosque except for three: Al-Masjid al-Haram, this mosque of mine (referring to the Prophet's Mosque in Medina), and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا تُضْرَبُ الْمَطَايَا إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَمَسْجِدِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The livers of the cow are only struck towards three mosques: Al-Masjid al-Haram, my mosque, and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا تُضْرَبُ أَكْبَادُ الْمَطِيِّ إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not set out on a journey except for three Mosques i.e. Al-Masjid-AI-Haram, the Mosque of Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Mosque of Al-Aqsa, (Mosque of Jerusalem)." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1189)

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not embark on journeys except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and my Mosque."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْأَقْصَى وَمَسْجِدِي

"إِنَّما يُسَافرُ إِلى ثلاثة مساجد مسجدِ الكعَبةِ، ومسجد إِيليا والصَّلاة في مَسْجِدِى أحبُّ إِلىَّ من ألفِ صلاةٍ في غيره إِلا مسجد الكعبة".

"لَا تُشَدُّ الرحالُ إِلا إلى ثلاثِة مَسَاجِدَ: المسجدِ الحرامِ، ومسجدى هذا، والمسجد الأقصى".

"لَا تُشَدُّ المَطِيُّ إلَّا إلى ثلاثةِ مساجِدَ: مسجدِ الحرامِ، ومسجدي، والمسجدِ الأقصى".

"لا تُشَدُّ الرحالُ إلا إلى ثلاثةِ مساجدَ: إلى المسجدِ الحرامِ وإلى المسجدِ الأقصى، وإلى مسجدى هذا، ولا تسافرُ امْرأةٌ مسيرةَ يومين إلا معَ زَوجٍ أو ذي مَحْرَمٍ".

"لَا تَشُدُّوا الرِّحَال إِلا إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ مَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ، وَمَسْجِدِ المَدِينَةِ وَمَسْجِدِ بَيتِ الْمَقدِسِ".

"لَا تُعْمَل الْمَطِيُّ إلا إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ: إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَمِ وَإِلَى مَسْجِدِي هَذَا، أَوْ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَيتِ الْمَقْدِسِ".

" عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ جَمِيلٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ: مَسْجِدِ مَكَّةَ، وَمَسْجِديِ هَذَا، وَمَسْجِدِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ".
