The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When one of you leads the people in prayer, let him make it brief, for among them are the weak, the sick, and the elderly. But when one of you prays by himself, let him lengthen it as much as he wishes.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ لِلنَّاسِ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ, فَإِنَّ مِنْهُمُ الضَّعِيفَ وَالسَّقِيمَ وَالْكَبِيرَ، وَإِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ لِنَفْسِهِ فَلْيُطَوِّلْ مَا شَاءَ».
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: When any one of you leads the people in prayer, he should be brief for among them are the young and the aged, the weak and the sick. But when one of you prays by himself, he may (prolong) as he likes.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّ أَحَدُكُمُ النَّاسَ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الصَّغِيرَ وَالْكَبِيرَ وَالضَّعِيفَ وَالْمَرِيضَ فَإِذَا صَلَّى وَحْدَهُ فَلْيُصَلِّ كَيْفَ شَاءَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When any one of you leads people in prayer, he must shorten it for among them are the weak, the infirm and those who have business to attend.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ لِلنَّاسِ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِي النَّاسِ الضَّعِيفَ وَالسَّقِيمَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you prays with the people, let him shorten (the prayer), for among them there may be a weak person, an elderly person, and someone with a need."

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If anyone of you leads the people in the prayer, he should shorten it for amongst them are the weak, the sick and the old; and if anyone among your prays alone then he may prolong (the prayer) as much as he wishes. " (Using translation from Bukhārī 703)

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you lead people in the prayer, make it short, because there are among them some people who are weak, ill and old. But when you pray on your own, make it as long as you wish."

[AI] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you leads the people in prayer, let him shorten the prayer, as there may be elderly, weak, or sick among them. But if he prays alone, let him prolong his prayer as much as he wishes."
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَمَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالنَّاسِ فَلْيُخَفِّفِ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْكَبِيرَ وَفِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفُ وَفِيهِمُ السَّقِيمُ وَإِنْ قَامَ وَحْدَهُ فَلْيُطِلْ صَلَاتَهُ مَا شَاءَ
