Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with awe (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Messenger of Allah ﷺ has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet ﷺ did not benefit by them).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ فَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Messenger of Allah ﷺ left (this world) and now you people are carrying those treasures from place to place.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ الْبَارِحَةَ إِذْ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى وُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَقِلُونَهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I have been commissioned with words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand. And Abfi Huraira added: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has left (for his heavenly home) and you are now busy in getting them.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I have been helped by terror (in the heart of the enemy) ; I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ عَلَى الْعَدُوِّ وَأُوتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ

: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’” Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

: “I heard the Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech, and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’ Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي» قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been granted victory through fear, and I have been given comprehensive speech. While I was asleep, the keys to the treasures of the earth were brought to me and placed in my hand." Abu Huraira said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, and you are disputing over it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَأُعْطِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ إِذْ جِيءَ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِيَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَدْ ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْثُلُونَهَا

أتيت بمفاتح خزائن الأرض فوضعت في يدي قال أبو هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَقَبَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وأنتم تنتفلونها أو تنتثلونهاوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا شيبان

أعطيت فواتح الكلم ونصرت بالرعب وبينا أنا نائم البارحة إذ أتيت بمفاتيح خزائن أحسبه قال الأرض قال أبو هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فذهب رسول الله صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وأنتم تنتثلونهاوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا الطفاوي

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يقول بعثت بجوامع الكلم ونصرت بالرعب وبينا أنا نائم أتيت بخزائن الأرض فوضعت في يديوهذا الحديث رواه مَعْمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أبي هُرَيرة
