Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with awe (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Messenger of Allah ﷺ has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet ﷺ did not benefit by them).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ فَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Messenger of Allah ﷺ left (this world) and now you people are carrying those treasures from place to place.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ الْبَارِحَةَ إِذْ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى وُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَقِلُونَهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I have been commissioned with words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand. And Abfi Huraira added: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has left (for his heavenly home) and you are now busy in getting them.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I have been helped by terror (in the heart of the enemy) ; I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ عَلَى الْعَدُوِّ وَأُوتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ

: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’” Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

: “I heard the Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech, and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’ Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَدْ ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ نصرت بالرعب وأعطيت جوامع الكلم وبينا أنا نائم إذ جيء بمفاتيح خزائن الأرض فوضعت في يدي قال أَبُو هُرَيرة فذهب رسول الله ﷺ وأنتم تنتثلونها وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ معمر

قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يقول بعثت بجوامع الكلم ونصرت بالرعب وبينا أنا نائم أتيت بخزائن الأرض فوضعت في يدي وهذا الحديث رواه مَعْمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أبي هُرَيرة

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قال أعطيت فواتح الكلم ونصرت بالرعب وبينا أنا نائم البارحة إذ أتيت بمفاتيح خزائن أحسبه قال الأرض قال أبو هريرة ؓ فذهب رسول الله ﷺ وأنتم تنتثلونها وَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ إلا الطفاوي

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been granted victory through fear, and I have been given comprehensive speech. While I was asleep, the keys to the treasures of the earth were brought to me and placed in my hand." Abu Huraira said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, and you are disputing over it."
