[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ teaching the people about their rituals and he said, "Throw the pebbles at the Jamrah (pillar) as if you are throwing them at a target."  

البيهقي:٩٥٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُ النَّاسَ مَنَاسِكَهُمْ وَقَالَ ارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ
