[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Poetry is good speech, it is as beautiful as good speech, and it is as ugly as ugly speech."  

البيهقي:٩١٨١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الشِّعْرُ كَلَامٌ حَسَنُهُ كَحَسَنِ الْكَلَامِ وَقَبِيحُهُ كَقَبِيحِهِ هَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ
